ello, my name is Bennetta Slaughter, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I own, along with my husband and a very good friend, a publishing company. We have 30+ employees and our business is very productive. Most of my activities center around children and the community. I am active with the Boy Scouts, the Girl Scouts and Artists in Action. We like to do events and visits that help or entertain others. One of our events each year is an Easter Egg Hunt in our local park. This year we hid 20,000 Easter goodies for the 3000 people who came. We had jugglers, clown, ponies and a petting zoo, too.

     I have two daughters, one is 25 and one is nearly 14. They like to help in our community projects as well. I love to read, work and play on my wave runner. One of my favorite projects is producing free concerts for the community utilizing local talent. This year so far I’ve produced 24 and they were attended by over 6000.
