I have been a Scientologist since 1974. If someone asked me what Scientology is all about, I would say that Scientology is a gold mine of knowledge that provides one with the tools necessary to operate in life successfully. By applying those tools daily, I have been able to better myself tremendously in many areas of my life. Here is one example. I can study any subject and learn it well easily, with the ability to apply what I have learned. This has enabled me recently to learn, mostly on my own, a very intricate computer program assembly function, in a very short amount of time. As a result, I received a substantial salary increase as I now can perform the function I learned. In this age of high tech, that skill alone is invaluable. My standard of life has improved with my income, making life more comfortable. And I know I will continue to expand in that area of life.

     There is a tremendous amount of other skills I have learned in Scientology, each single one having great benefits in my life. I can communicate a lot better with people. I used to be extremely shy. Now, I actually enjoy meeting new people and find it interesting to get to know them. I also have tools that help me take care of my children and keep them happy. At the office, I can work under very stressful conditions and remain calm while others around me get frantic. My boss is very satisfied with me as I get the job done, no matter what. And the list goes on and on.

     In a nutshell, I feel in charge of my life, setting goals and reaching them, instead of riding along without control, being carried at whim by the current of life. I am 43 years old, and I wish I was 18 so I could start it all over with all the tools I now have. In the same token, the future looks very bright for me.
