The first contact I made in Scientology happened when I read Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health by L. Ron Hubbard in my high school library in Englewood, Colorado. I had read scores of books on psychology trying to answer all my questions about life and they left me with still more questions. With one book, all my questions were answered, including some I never thought to ask. I have since discovered Scientology, a broader subject and with it a technology that embraces every aspect of life. Study Technology enabled me to become a better student and the Purification Rundown* purified my body and restored my health from a near death experience involving poisons. Scientology has given me the means to be at cause over circumstances instead of being the effect of life's adversities.
