ello, my name is Harry Honnor, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am 43 years of age and a professional Martial Arts Instructor.

     I grew up in a broken home and for many years walked around with a huge chip on my shoulder. I left school when I was 15 and went to work. I felt that all my problems were caused by school and the education system. It wasn’t long before I found that school and education couldn’t have been all my problems as here I was working and life still seemed to be a problem.

     I found myself mixing with the wrong people and getting into trouble. Spending more and more time at the Pub drinking more and more. Life seemed to be going down more and more.

     One morning I awoke and felt it was time for a change, I had to do something about myself. I lacked personal discipline and had no direction at all in life. So, off I went to join the Army, if it was discipline I needed then where better to go than into the military.

     Well I certainly found discipline, enforced discipline. Still this did have the effect of halting the downward spiral I was traveling on. I then began to move from strength to strength and in a very short time found myself a member of one of the Military’s toughest Special Forces units. This was an environment which demanded strong personal discipline and dedication.

     After spending 12 years in the military I decided to move on - after all, I now had discipline and determination under my belt so off I went.

     Well, back in the real world what to do? Where to start? The next thing I found I was back on the job to job merry-go-round, trying one thing after another. The discipline level still high and the determination level still high but???

     I knew what I wanted to do and where I wanted to go but I suddenly realized I had no education in – “LIFE!”
Why do things go bump in the night?...
Why do people behave that way?...
Why don’t they understand what I am trying to say?....
Why do some people say “don’t be silly you could never do _____?”

     So many questions. So few answers. Everywhere I look things seem to be geared to slow me down or to stop me from achieving what I wanted.

     Here I was at 31 years of age with a lot of experience under my belt in life and living and I didn’t seem to have the tools to handle life. I had clocked up two broken marriages. There seemed to be no end to what could go wrong.

     Then all of a sudden out of the blue I was handed a glimmer of hope and the possibility that there might be a light at the end of that tunnel I was looking down. All that searching in the dark maybe hadn’t been in vain. Someone showed me the light switch, then said “BUT...... !!!”

     Here we go again, life always has a but. Was someone else trying to give me another “no answer” dead end? By this time I had become very skeptical. However, I thought that it wouldn’t hurt to hear what the “but...” was.

     Well this turned out to be the easiest “but” I had ever had. No trick, no mystery. All I had to do was turn the light switch on. I found the switch and hesitated. What if??? Maybe I won’t like the view when the light is turned on. Maybe life is meant to be dark and mysterious to protect us from what is out there.

     I decided to take the challenge and check to see if things could be that bad and I turned the light on and to my surprise I found a road paved with beauty and hope and answers to all the questions I had asked myself.

     That switch was SCIENTOLOGY.

     Today I am a successful Martial Arts teacher. I have obtained in life the one thing I always wanted and that is to be able to help my fellow man to be able to improve his or her life.

     I am self employed so I am not subject to the unusual and unpredictable behavior of others.

     I have the ability to predict my own life and create the time I want to be able to do things that are meaningful to me and those about me.

     I am happily married and have a lovely home.

     At last I can say there are answers to life and how to understand it. How to predict and handle it. Those answers are found in the study of Scientology. Take a look for yourself and be as surprised as I was, turn on the light and take a look at what has been hidden from you and what is rightfully yours.
