ello, my name is Jane Billing, and here is a little bit about myself:

     At the age of 3 myself and others around me discovered that I was musical. By the age of 6 I could read and write music notation and had already written my first piece for piano. From age 7 - 15 I studied grades and at age 12 I started writing songs after a failed attempt at a trumpet concerto.

     At age 13 I was playing guitar and singing in London clubs. Also at age 10 I discovered poetry and have been writing poems, prose and short stories ever since.

     At age 16 I got into the rock music business proper, working with bands & song writers of the day as a singer, pianist and guitarist. I met and still meet a lot of famous and excellent players. I have recently turned to jazz and have studied under one of Britain’s leading guitarists and tutor.

     I am currently playing piano professionally, writing comedy scripts for television and re-launching my career generally as a writer and composer.

     On top of this I am a bit of a computer whiz, a brilliant book keeper and not bad at graphics and artistic layout.
