I was reading sections of What is Scientology? when I came across this single statement: “The Bridge is complete and can be walked with certainty.” The Bridge is the step-by-step route to total spiritual freedom. The instant I read that sentence, what blew away was the accumulation of loss, betrayal, and failed purpose of former efforts toward spiritual freedom. What lifted was the weight of the false idea that I had to piece the truth together for myself bit by bit and hope I would have the ability to accomplish that. The hope was little. This little hope is supplanted by certainty.
