The Evolution of a Science: This helped me get an understanding of how the mind works.
Self-Analysis: This book is a little more advanced but the first 60 pages describes conditions and factors that all of mankind are facing whether they know it or not. There are also some really cool do-it-yourself improvement techniques. This you have got to try.
