ello, my name is John Radich, and here is a little bit about myself:

     I am a native Californian, 44 years old and I have a fitness training business in which I help people with personal exercise programs and help them become more physically active.

     I found out about Scientology in 1974 while traveling in New Mexico, where I had the pleasure of meeting a Scientologist who introduced me to it.

     I enjoy running. I run the Ultra-Marathons which is any foot race over 50km (30 miles). I have run almost 100 Ultra-Marathons. Some are well known, such as the Western States 100 Mile Trail Race, the Los Angeles Crest 100 Mile Trail Race and numerous 50 mile trail races and a 900 mile race in Australia.

     This July, I plan to run through Death Valley, California to Mt. Whitney, CA, a total of 157 miles. We run from the lowest point in the western hemisphere - 282 feet to the highest point in the continental US, Mt. Whitney, which is 14,496 feet. Having run this race last year in 130 degrees, it was my toughest race ever. I did finish among an international field of Ultra Runners.

      I will be raising funds for The Way to Happiness Foundation to put booklets into schools and youth groups.

     I attribute my success as an Ultra-Marathoner to using L. Ron Hubbard’s teachings. My ability to concentrate and remain focused in these long distances is due to using Mr. Hubbard’s techniques.

     I have had injuries and recovered a lot more quickly due to Mr. Hubbard’s techniques. It has prolonged my running career.

     When not running, I enjoy nature photography, hiking, camping and cycling. I enjoy writing also.
