When I finished High School I did not read well and could not read an entire book, which made it very difficult to learn things. I wanted to be a musician and this put quite a barrier there.

     I was shopping one day and someone sold me a Dianetics book. I read a little of it and realized that if this was true, it would be a wonderful thing.

     The person who sold me the book invited me to the Church to do a personality test. After the test I enrolled on a study course.

     I was playing bass guitar at the time and while I was on the course my speed on the guitar had tripled and my understanding of what I was learning went way up. My instructor kept telling me that I had real talent. The only thing that really happened is that I now really understood what I was doing and it really increased my ability to do it.

     After I completed the study course I also went out and bought a mechanics book and fixed my sports car all by myself! This would have never happened before.

     I feel now that there is nothing I cannot learn and apply with this new ability to study and I have read many books since then.

     I now own my own company, I work at home, and I make a really good living at it.
