My Success in Scientology

My earliest win in Scientology, some 27 years ago, was an enormous increase in my ability to communicate. This was a direct result of doing the Scientology Communication Course. Having tried many other types of self-improvement prior to this, I went into the Communication Course a skeptic. The improvement I got on this course opened my eyes to Scientology.

The second big improvement I got was to handle the adverse effects of some bad drug experiences I had when I was 19 or 20 years old. Although I experimented with drugs only a few times, these experiences had been enough to wreck my life. Scientology auditing* completely handled the bad effects of the drugs I'd taken and I've never even had the slightest urge to take drugs since then.

The third big improvement I had was in the area of study. By the time I finished school, I wanted nothing more to do with education or study and by that time any attempts to study were quite slow, difficult and painful. The study technology developed by Mr. Hubbard handled that and rehabilitated the intense desire to learn that I had when I was in grammar school.

These gains were followed by an increase in my integrity and honesty that have enabled me to have very strong, happy and lasting relationships.

All of the above gains were in the first few years of my involvement in Scientology.

When I started in Scientology I was a skeptic and didn't believe that anything worked. So all of the above completely took me by surprise and were beyond my expectations and hopes for Scientology.

As phenomenal as these gains were they were completely overshadowed by spiritual gains that I've had from continuing the step by step auditing and training as laid out on the Bridge to Total Freedom (a step by step guide to spiritual freedom).

By far the biggest gain that I've had in Scientology is the realization, certainty and recovery of who I really am; my own spiritual nature and immortality.

I know I am a spiritual being. My body and mind are not me; they are tools I use to communicate with.

I know I am immortal and have lived many lives before and that I will live on and on beyond this lifetime.

I know that it is an unnatural state for me and everyone else not to remember prior to this lifetime and to forget all that has occurred before this lifetime and to lose all of the abilities acquired before this lifetime and to have to start out all over again. I also know that it is possible to rise above this state of oblivion from lifetime to lifetime that one and all are trapped in.

I know that my potential abilities as a spiritual being are far beyond anything I before thought possible as a human being. I also have a total certainty that the only hope I or anyone else has of regaining those potential abilities and really being freed from the trap we are all in is through Scientology auditing and training.

This has completely changed my perspective on life and what is important and what is not important.

To put this in proper perspective let me say that the knowledge and understanding I have as to my own spiritual nature and the spiritual nature of man is far beyond the materialistic views that are prevalent in this culture at this time.

*auditing: the application of Dianetics or Scientology processes and procedures to someone by a trained auditor. The exact definition of auditing is: The action of asking a person a question (which he can understand and answer), getting an answer to that question and acknowledging him for that answer.
